Thank you Amery Hill Secondary School!

Pupils from Amery Hill Secondary School in Alton selected Abby’s Heroes as their chosen charity for the school’s annual Winter Fayre and fundraised a fantastic £578.14!

The Winter Fayre Committee, exclusively made up of pupils, took sole responsibility for organising the whole event – and what a brilliant event it was with stalls, raffles, games, karaoke, sports challenges, bakes and the opportunity to purchase gifts and crafts.

David from Abby’s Heroes visited the school alongside long-time supporter Vicki Dobson to receive a cheque from Headteacher Mr Jeckells and meet some of the pupils involved. During the visit, David and Vicki spoke to pupils about the work of Abby’s Heroes and shared insights into careers within the charity sector. Vicki also delivered a moving and inspirational talk, describing how Abby’s Heroes has supported her family.
