Team Arcado Lounge

The wonderful team at Arcado Lounge completed a fantastic range of fundraising activities in support of Abby’s Heroes.

Their fundraising season got off to a great start with the ever-popular Bingo and Quiz Night events, attracting plenty of local residents and holidaymakers at the Christchurch venue. Children also had a wonderful time at the Afternoon Party, enjoying games, party food, activities and a fun game of musical statues.

In support of Abby’s Heroes Founder, Sally Randall and her planned cycle to Amsterdam, staff and visitors got on their bikes for the Arcado Lounge Big Bike Event, clocking up miles of their own. Considering the exceptionally hot and humid midsummer weather, every mile pedalled was a remarkable achievement.

Other highlights included a sold-out Sip and Paint evening, where budding artists created beautiful paintings to take home as a reminder of a fun and successful fundraising event.

Abby’s Heroes Corporate Fundraiser, Pamela Broad, dropped in to thank the team personally for their incredible fundraising efforts, which raised an amazing £1,075 for the charity. Assistant Manager Drew said, "It's always a pleasure to help raise money for a good cause" and we are delighted to work alongside such a fantastic team. Their enthusiasm and commitment to supporting children with cancer and their families continues to make a real difference.
