Pokemon Power helps support Hamble Hawks and Abby’s Heroes

Buy Play Trade the popular PokeStore in Bitterne, Southampton have announced that they will be supporting Hamble Hawks U13 football team as well as Abby’s Heroes over the coming year.

Hamble Hawks U13 will be playing this season in new home and away strips proudly sponsored by Buy Play Trade. The strips will have the Abby’s Heroes logo on the back to help spread awareness of the charity.

Ben Nicholas, Manager of Hamble Hawks U13 commented “We chose to have Abby’s Heroes on the Hamble Hawks Under-13s shirts because they supported my family when my daughter was seriously ill a few years ago. They are an amazing charity, and we feel incredibly lucky to have experienced their kindness and support”.

Ben added “The Hawks are a great bunch of mates who started the season simply wanting to enjoy playing together and have fun, without taking things too seriously. But they’ve been doing so well that the competitive side has definitely kicked in — now they want to win every game! It feels really special to have Abby’s Heroes on their shirts and to help raise awareness for such a wonderful cause.

As well as their support with the strips Buy Play Trade will be supporting Abby’s Heroes in their store throughout November. Marc Stroud, the owner of the Pokestore commented ”We are delighted to be able to support both Hamble Hawks and Abby’s Heroes. I am very aware of the important work the charity does in support of children with cancer and their families locally. I know our wonderful customers will want to support Abby’s Heroes.”

Abbycorn, the Abby’s Heroes unicorn mascot, was excited to visit the store recently to meet the Hamble Hawks team and check out their new strips. Abbycorn also took the opportunity to pop into the store and learn more about Pokemon collecting from Marc.
