Lounge Aid supports Abby’s Heroes

The fantastic team at Maritimo Lounge, Ocean Village in Southampton held a series of 'Lounge Aid' events in June in support of Abby’s Heroes.

The highlight of their month of fundraising was when Brenda, Sam, Sophie and Callie from the lounge braved the sweltering heat to take part in a 'Lounge to Lounge' walk from Maritimo Lounge in Southampton to Panero Lounge in Portsmouth. On their 18-mile hike they even popped into the Vito Lounge in Fareham along the way to say hello to the team there!

Other activities in a packed month of activities included a dog goodie basket raffle, an auction for a signed Southampton FC shirt and a Tiki BBQ Day.

Once Abby’s Heroes mascot Abbycorn heard about this amazing fundraising she headed straight to the Maritimo Lounge to thank the team for their amazing efforts. Whilst she was there she picked up the 'big cheque' for £852 and then our ever-helpful Unicorn took the opportunity to assist behind the bar and even serve a few drinks to surprised customers!
