Helmet City fundraises over £7000 for Abby’s Heroes.

Helmet City in Chichester recently held an Open Day in support of Abby’s Heroes. This follows a similar event at their store in Cheddar, Somerset and a recent Football Fun Day. In total the three events fundraised a magnificent £7437 for Abby’s Heroes.

Abby’s Heroes mascot Abbycorn popped along to the Chichester store to thank Helmet City’s Managing Director Jennifer Holmes and the team for their fantastic support and pick up a cheque for the total amount raised.

Jennifer commented “This year, we’ve been incredibly proud to support Abby’s Heroes by holding two Open Days and a Football Fun Day. The charity is especially close to my heart, as they have provided invaluable support to me and my family following my daughter’s diagnosis earlier this year.”

When she popped into the store, Abbycorn took the opportunity to check out the amazing array of helmets available and even tried on a unicorn sized helmet!

David Fawcett, Abby’s Heroes Community Fundraiser said “We are extremely grateful to everyone at Helmet City for their support and kindness. To have fundraised over £7000 is an incredible achievement, it is only through the support of individuals and businesses like Helmet City that we can continue to support children with cancer and their families. Thank you to everyone involved in these amazing events.”

Jenny added “I’d like to say a huge thank you to all our friends, family, staff, suppliers and customers who supported our events and helped us achieve this fantastic result. Your generosity and kindness mean so much to us, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who played a part.”
