Defibrillator Launch

We are so proud to officially launch our new public access defibrillator, a vital addition that will help strengthen safety and emergency support for our local community.
To mark the occasion, we also hosted a Big Purple Tea Party, welcoming a fantastic turnout of guests who joined us in celebration and enjoyed a selection of delicious sweet treats. While the tea party brought a lovely sense of community spirit to the day, the focus of the event was firmly on the launch of the defibrillator and the importance of having this life-saving equipment readily available.
We were honoured to be joined by the Mayor of Fareham, who formally unveiled the defibrillator and helped mark the moment as a significant milestone for everyone involved.
A heartfelt thank you goes to Debbie & Andy Duff of Powerforce Electrical for their generous funding of the machine, which has been dedicated in memory of James, beloved husband of Sharon Brady. We were also pleased to welcome Sharon’s brother, Paul Cheater of Independent Plumbing Supplies and a dedicated supporter of Abby’s Heroes.
Also a special thanks to Goodyer Electrical for their expert installation of the defibrillator, helping ensure it is fully operational and ready for use if ever needed.
