What an incredible day we had at the Alresford Watercress Festival 2026!
The streets of Alresford were once again filled with thousands of visitors enjoying a fantastic day of entertainment, delicious food, live music, family fun, and of course, plenty of watercress! It’s always such a special event in our calendar, and we are so grateful to be part of such a wonderful community celebration each year.
We are absolutely thrilled to share that, thanks to everyone’s incredible generosity and support, we raised an amazing £8,500 for Abby’s Heroes! 🤩
These vital funds will help us continue supporting families on the Piam Brown and TYA wards, providing practical and emotional support to children and young people facing cancer, as well as their families during some of the most difficult times in their lives.
A huge thank you goes to the incredible Watercress Festival team for organising such a brilliant event and making us feel so welcome every year. We would also like to give a very special thank you to Tom and everyone at The Watercress Company for once again going above and beyond to support Abby’s Heroes. Your kindness, dedication, and continued support truly mean the world to us, and the impact you help us make for our families is simply invaluable.
We also want to say a heartfelt thank you to our amazing volunteers. From setting up stalls and chatting with supporters to selling watercress throughout the day, your energy and enthusiasm never go unnoticed. Seeing the streets filled with Abby’s Heroes purple tops is always such a proud and emotional moment for us 💜 We genuinely could not do it without you.
And finally, thank you to every single person who stopped by, bought watercress, made a donation, or simply came over to say hello and learn more about what we do. Every conversation, every purchase, and every act of support helps us continue making a real difference to families facing childhood cancer.
