Ace Sports fundraises over £2800 for Abby’s Heroes with action-packed fundraising events

The team at Ace Sports fundraised an amazing £2800 after organising a trio of events – a Dodgeball Tournament, “soak the coaches” activity and epic 26 miles walk in support of Abby’s Heroes.
The walk saw ten members of the team walk 26 miles from sunrise to sunset along the coast from Durdle Door to Studland along the way taking in some very demanding terrain.
Charlie McEvoy from Ace Sports said “At the beginning of the year we decided we wanted to work in partnership with a charity. We wanted to not only fundraise for the charity but also help spread awareness of their work. Once we had spoken to Abby’s Heroes we knew they were the ideal fit for us. We have had a great time working with them over the last year with all three of our events being really successful as well as a lot of fun. The walk was a great way to fundraise and spread awareness of Abby’s Heroes and was also a wonderful opportunity for our team to bond and get to know each other better.”
David Fawcett, Community Fundraiser at Abby’s Heroes commented “We have loved working with Ace Sports , the whole team have been extremely enthusiastic and went above and beyond to support us. We can’t wait to work with then again in 2027”
Jack Knight from Ace Sports added “We set out to fundraise £2000 so to have reached over £2800 is absolutely fantastic. We are extremely grateful to the children , coaches, parents and the amazing Ace Sports team for their support. We can’t wait to do it all again next year!”
