ABP Walk the Test Way

In mid-July, mid-heatwave, a group of intrepid walkers from ABP Southampton set off from Inkpen, the start of the Test Way Walk at 5.20am to complete the 44 mile route to Eling. Yes, the group met at the office at 4.00am! Now that is commitment!

It was great to see the group about 20 miles into their journey and replenish them with bananas, sweets, snack bars and plenty of water. It was a very hot day and there were some sore feet, some blisters but plenty of smiles!

Some finished after an incredible 30+ miles, weary and foot-sore and other brave souls continued to the end of the walk, completing all 44 miles, fundraising for Abby’s Heroes. Yes, the pub was calling!
