Abbycorn Out and About!

Our lovable Unicorn Mascot Abbycorn has been out and about recently meeting supporters and spreading the word about Abby’s Heroes.
She made a visit to Paulton’s Park and had a fantastic time meeting park visitors ,talking about our work supporting children with cancer and their families and collecting donations. Many thanks to our very hard-working volunteers Poppy, Jade, Luke and Ella from our amazing supporters Womble Bond Dickinson who joined Abbycorn and helped her as she was inundated with requests for selfies and photos – even our volunteers couldn’t resist getting snapped with our fun-loving Unicorn!
Abbycorn also popped along to the Thornden School’s Dress Rehearsal of their production of Little Shop of Horrors to surprise the cast and crew and thanks pupils for their support of Abby’s Heroes. The school recently had a Movie Night event which raised over £1300 for Abby’s Heroes, and they supported us again with Little Shop of Horrors. Abbycorn took the opportunity to meet talking plant Audrey 11 and thanked everyone for their amazing support.
Finally, Abbycorn waved off Dave and Tereasa Hawkins as they set off on an epic journey in support of Abby’s Heroes from Land’s End to John O’Groats, covering more than 1,000 miles in under 24 hours on their three-wheel Can-Am bikes. What an amazing achievement!
I wonder where Abbycorn will be spotted next.
